Details
Generations Border Rugs are Wilton woven in Egypt from polypropylene with abrashed (weathered) fields and woven backing. Abrash refers to color variations or striations in the rug; this effect is intentional and is used to give character or an antique look to the rug. Manmade fibers are all resistant to stains and moisture. The cross-woven construction creates rugs with up to 36 colors, varying from light to deep tones. Rugs, .5" thick, feature ethnic motifs alternating with fanciful blocks. On either side of the wide borders are wavy lines and paisley motifs; colors include golden yellow, cypress, and ivory. Outer frame coordinates with variegated field colors. Specify field color: Aubergine or Garnet. Design may vary by size.

Vacuum regularly. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.
Do not place the rug in damp areas or moisten the rug with liquids, as dampness may cause deterioration. To help protect the backing, roll the rug when storing; do not fold. To help prevent fading, do not place the rug in areas of direct sunlight. For rugs used over carpeting, do not conduct any cleaning prior to removing the rug, and do not return the rug until completely dry.
