Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.
The rug is a bit more narrow than I usually buy, but it looks good in my long kitchen and in front of the island. I do lots of cooking and also cook with my grandchildren. Nice to have a carpet on the floor to vacuum up spills.
