Timeless tradition and a sweet elegance grace the Serena Aubusson II Runner Rugs with charming beauty. These luster-washed wool runner rugs, .5" thick, wear well and feel soft underfoot. The lovely Aubusson design has intricate detailing of roses, florals, acanthus leaves, and scrolls. A high standard of depth and detail, accomplished through intricate handcarving, makes the designs spring vividly to life. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Due to the handcrafted nature, slight variations in size, color, and design are inherent. Specify Emerald Green, Burgundy, Ivory, Midnight Blue, Parisian Blue, or Rose. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. Imported.

Flowers and leaves accent the corners of rectangles and are interspersed with smaller florals on the oval and round rugs. These hand-tufted rugs offer a wide range of colors and sizes to coordinate room-size rugs with smaller accent or area rugs. Runners may be used to create a smooth visual transition from room to room; round rugs look elegant beneath tables. Design will vary by size.

The Serena Aubusson II Rugs are made of wool. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Imported.

Rug Care Tips

Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Shedding is a normal characteristic of wool rugs but will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

I've searched for two years for four runners and a carpet for the foyer that coordinate with the Karastan rugs I bought in the eighties. The colors are a perfect match! They are thick, easy on the feet, and well made. I love them!

Quality rug that will last for years to come. I have bought these in the past and loved them. I would still be using the originals, but I got two puppies at Christmas time and when they started teething, they attacked my rugs. Since we live in an open concept home, it was hard to keep them away from the rugs. I bought new rugs to replace the chewed ones, once they are done teething.

I had bought an area rug from you maybe 10 years ago and I just redid the bedroom floors to hardwood, so I wanted two runners to match what I already had. I found the exact match all these years later and bought two runners for each side of the bed. It looks wonderful and I'm so happy I was able to match it up.
