Timeless tradition and a sweet elegance grace the Serena Aubusson II Rugs with charming beauty. These luster-washed wool rugs, .5" thick, wear well and feel soft underfoot. The lovely Aubusson design has intricate detailing of roses, florals, acanthus leaves, and scrolls. A high standard of depth and detail, accomplished through intricate handcarving, makes the designs spring vividly to life. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Due to the handcrafted nature, slight variations in size, color, and design are inherent. Specify Burgundy, Emerald Green, Ivory, Midnight Blue, Parisian Blue, or Rose. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. Imported.

Flowers and leaves accent the corners of rectangles and are interspersed with smaller florals on the oval and round rugs. These hand-tufted rugs offer a wide range of colors and sizes to coordinate room-size rugs with smaller accent or area rugs. Runners may be used to create a smooth visual transition from room to room; round rugs look elegant beneath tables. Design will vary by size.

The Serena Aubusson II Rugs are made of wool. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Imported.

Rug Care Tips

Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Shedding is a normal characteristic of wool rugs but will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

It has been many years since we had to buy and replace our Aubusson rug. Our last rug lasted 20 years. Bought this rug in navy blue. It is perfect! Gorgeous addition to our house. High quality, heavy and soft on the feet. I expect to have this beautiful rug for at least 20 years. The investment is worth it. You will love your rug as much as I do.

I have three Aubusson rugs that I love, which I purchased many years ago. They hold up well and are beautiful. I searched hundreds of web sites to find another one that was larger and finally found Touch of Class. There were some problems at first when I ordered on line, but after calling and being on hold, that was cleared up and I received the rug very shortly. It was packaged extremely well, arrived quickly and is beautiful. I would definitely order again from this vendor.
