Timeless tradition and a sweet elegance grace the Serena Aubusson II Area Rugs with charming beauty. These luster-washed wool rugs, .5" thick, wear well and feel soft underfoot. The lovely Aubusson design has intricate detailing of roses, florals, acanthus leaves, and scrolls. A high standard of depth and detail, accomplished through intricate handcarving, makes the designs spring vividly to life. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Due to the handcrafted nature, slight variations in size, color, and design are inherent. Specify Parisian Blue, Burgundy, Emerald Green, Ivory, Midnight Blue, or Rose. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. Imported.

Flowers and leaves accent the corners of rectangles and are interspersed with smaller florals on the oval and round rugs. These hand-tufted rugs offer a wide range of colors and sizes to coordinate room-size rugs with smaller accent or area rugs. Runners may be used to create a smooth visual transition from room to room; round rugs look elegant beneath tables. Design will vary by size.

The Serena Aubusson II Rugs are made of wool. Backing is cloth-covered latex. Imported.

Rug Care Tips

Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Shedding is a normal characteristic of wool rugs but will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

I absolutely love this area rug. This is the second one I have purchased. I had the first one for a few years and then I got two puppies. Now that they are housebroke, the first one has been replaced.

Very nice rug. I don’t think you could find another like it for the price. I would recommend this rug for someone looking for a quality handmade rug. I ordered the dark blue and its not as dark as in the pictures shown. But, I'm still very happy with my purchase.

It’s My Second Area Rug and Had a Smaller Version That Lasted 14 Years and Still Okay

These area rugs are beautiful. I even have scatter ones that match. This blue one I purchased is exactly like first one, except this is bigger. The smaller one lasted 14 yrs and is still not bad just wanted a larger one to cover my carpet.

The most perfect, magical fit for a Disney Princess rug. We have it in our living room with our pastel, romantic French Court theme of decor, and its PERFECTION.
