Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

Mine had some of the outside petals bent in the packaging. I have stacks of books on the bent ones and I think they will back up. Well - I just checked - and they are all perfect. I have it in a hallway intersection of the kitchen, living room, dining room and study. That way it won't get dirty, like it might if I put right by the front door. I bought one that is the half slice for my in-laws. They have it in front of their fireplace. They keep it there all year round. It is SO pretty, I decided to get a full size one for our home.
