Please note: The back of the rug is jute. If the rug doesn't lie flat after unrolling, we recommend laying it face-down on a clean surface in the hot sun for 15 minutes. The heat will make the jute relax and flatten. If you cannot take the rug outside, apply heat to the backing with a blow dryer. Do not apply heat to the yarn side of the rug.
The Beaujolais II Grape Slice Rug is made from polypropylene and has jute backing. Imported.
Rug Care Tips
Vacuum regularly. Use a suction-only vacuum with the beater bar turned off. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.
