I am very pleased with the color and feel of the fabric of this bedspread. When I put the bedspread on my bed, however, it was too long. (My mattress is 24" high.) Since the bedspread is washable, I washed it knowing that with it's 80% cotton content, it would shrink, which it did. With washing and drying the bedspread, it retained it's lovely blue color, but it did have a lot of pilling so then I had to remove all of that. It took a while to do, but I am pleased with the final result. The bedspread is now about 3" off the floor and looks very nice but as another reviewer has stated, it is not as puffy and full as the photo in the catalog. I also want to mention that the corner fabric does not overlap so I have to move the fabric so that the mattress underneath does not show. With all of this, I still really like the bedspread and am so happy to have found Touch of Class that actually sells a large variety of bedspreads.

So here’s the deal…the fabric quality gets 5 stars. The color, compared to what I saw online, gets 5 stars. It is heavy and well made. Here is what you need to know, if you are thinking about buying this; the fullness and the ruffles DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE. I ironed for hours and couldn’t figure out a way to get that look, which was one of the things I loved in the photo online. HOWEVER, that said, I will not return it. It really is lovely.
