We also bought the large size bath mat that matches this little contour rug; both have been washed (gentle cycle) and came out fine. Hubby doesn't usually notice much about the bathrooms, but when I put this down, he really liked it, saying, "Excellent! Hope you bought two of them!" Luckily, I had!
