Mattress Sizes (in inches): Twin 39x75, Full 54x75, Queen 60x80, King 76x80, Cal King 72x84

A Comforter is a bed covering filled with plump polyester. A comforter usually has quilting to hold the fill in place. It is not designed to cover pillows or hang to the floor. A Comforter Set includes a comforter, bedskirt, and shams. Twin has 1 standard sham; Full and Queen have 2; King has 2 king shams.

A Throw-Style Bedspread is a covering that extends all the way to the floor and typically has bell corners. A bedspread reverse is generally a color-matched or print fabric. Many of our bedspreads feature intricately quilted designs.

A Fitted Bedspread is a tailored covering with a three-sided drop that extends to the floor. The fitted style typically has gusseted, split corners (see below). Most of our bedspreads have generous length to allow you to tuck your pillows.

A Grande Bedspread is our bedding solution for your deep mattress up to 12" thick. These bedspreads are generously oversized with a 24" drop from the top of the bed to the floor. For standard mattresses up to 8" deep, try our Classic Bedspread with a 21" drop.

A Coverlet gives you the stylish look of a comforter with the lighter weight of a quilted bedspread. We recommend that you use a bedskirt and shams with a coverlet.

A Quilt is generally made of two layers of fabric with polyester or cotton batting between. Our hand-quilted covers are machine-pieced to form intricate designs. A fine quilt is an heirloom that can be passed down from generation to generation. We recommend that you use a bedskirt and shams with a quilt.

A Duvet Cover is like a giant pillowcase for your down or polyester comforter. This decorative casing usually has a zipper or button closure that makes it easy to remove for washing. A duvet can be used without a comforter for a lightweight summer bed cover.

A Daybed Cover is engineered to fit a twin daybed and has a three-sided drop. We generally offer daybed sets, which include a daybed comforter, coverlet, or quilt, with a daybed bedskirt and shams. Perfect for a dorm room or studio apartment! A daybed can double as extra seating in small spaces.

A Hollywood Cover is a fitted, three-sided bedspread that is engineered to fit a twin mattress. This tailored coverlet has gusseted, split-inset corners (see below). Perfect for a dorm room or studio apartment! A Hollywood bed can double as extra seating in small spaces.

A Bedskirt conceals what is under your bed. Fabric lays over your box spring and has an attached skirt on three sides that hangs to the floor. Use with comforters, quilts, or coverlets. A bedskirt helps keep dust from settling under your bed.

A Bolster Sham or Bolster Pillow is designed for use with a Hollywood Cover. A Bolster Pillow includes the sham and foam insert. A Bolster Sham is a covering only (no foam insert inside).

A Gusseted Corner features a small piece of fabric that is sewn under the split corners to hide the bed frame and finish the look of the bedspread.

A Sheet Set generally includes a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and 2 pillowcases. Twin Sheet Sets only contain 1 standard pillowcase. The quality of a sheet set is determined by its thread count (see below).

Thread Count is defined as the number of threads woven into one square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count, the more luxurious the sheet. Most of our percale and cotton sheet sets are a quality 300 thread count or greater.

Pillow Shams are decorative coverings for a standard/queen or king bed pillow. They generally have an opening on the reverse side. Shams can be used with any style of bed covering. See our sham stuffer pillows.

European Shams are decorative coverings for 26" square pillows (see our sham stuffer pillows). A European pillow makes a great backrest for sitting up in bed to watch television or to read.

Reverse Pillow Tuck: Some of our bedspreads feature a "reverse pillow tuck". This feature allows you to quickly and effortlessly make your bed. Plus, it neatly covers your pillows. See our Reverse Pillow Tuck Bedspreads.

Super King bedding accommodates newer bed mattresses that are thicker due to pillow top and memory foam construction. (See our Super King quilts). Oversized king bedding will cover your 15" deep mattress completely.
