Rustic and Lazy!

Beautiful, rustic, and quite large, although a bit pricey. Exactly what we were looking for on our mountain decor kitchen island - perfect.

I love that this lazy susan is made from authentic reclaimed wine staves along with the barrel band. Nice craftsmanship and attention to detail in putting together this lazy susan.

The maker of this Lazy Susan has replaced the original quarter sawn barrel head with a cheap sheet of plain sawn plywood. Most likely so he could sell another Lazy Susan, minus the stave ends, using the valuable quarter sawn (tight grain) material that he purloined from this barrel head. Definitely not a classy move.

Bought as a house warming gift for friends who are wine enthuseists. Love the look and they are putting in their wine room
