Overview

Vines, blooming flowers, and leafy scrolls blossom on the Portia Rose Quartz Aubusson Area Rugs. These handcrafted and hand-tufted pure wool rugs, .5" thick, have a handcarved rose Aubusson design. Common colors include shades of rose, gold, green, and champagne; center and outer border are rose quartz. Rectangles and runners have sculpted corners; round rugs are scalloped. Larger rectangles also have an inner bead border. Backs are cloth-covered latex. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. Handcarved in China.

The Portia Rose Aubusson Area Rugs are made from wool. Backs are cloth-covered latex. Made in China.

Vacuum regularly. Do not vacuum with a beater bar machine. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

Do not place the rug in damp areas or moisten the rug with liquids, as dampness may cause deterioration. To help protect the backing, roll the rug when storing; do not fold. To help prevent fading, do not place the rug in areas of direct sunlight. For rugs used over carpeting, do not conduct any cleaning prior to removing the rug, and do not return the rug until completely dry.
