DVD Case

The product is made well and attractive. However, I have one complaint. The holes for the shelves to be placed needed to be spaced differently as I was not able to get the shelves spaced to hold as many DVD's as it indicated in the description. I ended up drilling new holes for one shelf to get the maximum space. It still left a very skinny shelf at the top and bottom, which I will have to lay the DVD's down on their side to use it.

Love it. Easy to build. Would do it again.

It looks good! I wish that it was just a bit taller to accommodate DVDs and books standing up, as opposed to having to lay them down on some of the shelves. It would be better if there wasn't so much overlap of the doors, it's tough to get things out of the middle of the cabinet. It went together easily and looks good in the room!

Overall it is very nice, assembly was straight forward with no problems. Would have liked to have had better color rendition in catalog and more than 1 choice (Californian) One problem, the glass was held in by a strip of clear plastic which had three pieces fallen out when it was unpacked and which could have lead to the glass falling out and/or breaking during unpacking. I replaced the strips and everything was fine. It is going to be a Christmas Eve surprise for my girl friend of 24 years. Thanks again.

It needs more holes in the sides so the shelfs can be adjusted as needed for dvd's or cd's. Doors do not slide easily.

Screws to the rear board, most placed just fine but one went through the wood. Was easy to put together, looks nice

Larger, nice, but not perfect

Needed more space and this provides. Sliding doors are a plus and a minus. Takes up less space, but the exact center of shelves is hard to get to. I agree with others, whoever put the shelve spacing together was not thinking. You have to have a combo of CD & DVD shelves. You cannot have all DVD shelves. We were able to make 3 DVD shelves, 2 CD shelves and one where whichever must lay down. Seems poor planning. One difficult part of instructions resulted in crack in the back - doesn't really affect anything critical tho.

I was also disappointed in the quality of this cabinet. My husband thought the drilling of the holes for the shelf were incorrectly drilled because we could not configure the shelving to accommodate DVD's only. I thought I would be able to use the entire unit or DVD storage exclusively. This cabinet was not up to "Touch of Class" quality that I am accustomed to.

Very pleased with the cabinet and the sliding doors. It is an attractive addition to our home.
