I bought this set to replace a really gorgeous brocade, cut velvet and quilted purple /gold comforter, dry clean only, that my cats had totally clawed up the nice brocade area on. So this new one was the perfect color, the cats aren't so thrilled clawing it because it is smoother and doesn't have the same cat attractive brocade texture, it doesn't attract cat hair, AND it is washable, if someone gaks on it. I have an oversize mattress, and this comforter fits on it just fine with plenty of overhang. So this comforter is a total winner for us.

I have been looking for a new bedroom set for months. This was what I have been looking for. It looks very elegant and is a perfect fit.

The color is awesome. Goes perfectly with my dark green walls and dark cherry furniture. As others have said, could be wider. The picture must have a small bed because it just barely covers the top mattress and I don't have a deep mattress. Should hang just a few inches lower. With that being said, I really like it. Nice shams but I hate the tags on the pillows. Tore a seam on a pillow trying to remove the tags. Some loose threads that needed to be cleaned up. The pattern is subtle, which is what I wanted. The shams, comforter and pillows are not rough and stiff. The comforter isn't too thick, but is warm for the colder nights. I didn't find it to be too warm like others stated. For the price it is a great purchase. Would be 5 stars, if it was just a bit wider and for all the tags. FYI- Made in China :-(

I love this set. The color and thickness is perfect to my liking. I bought a king size and the comforter goes off the sides the bed a little, which not many do. Very good price for the quality of the set.

We needed a new comforter set as we are changing the color of the room. Plum/ Purple is one of my favorite colors. It is very comfortable.

This comforter is beautiful, but as one other customer mentioned... it is HOT. We live in Alaska and it is even hot for us. Trying to figure out what to do. It is also a little too big to put in my front load washer and dryer. I had to have it dry cleaned. Love the look, though!

I've been looking for a replacement for the comforter set I've been using for many years - in purple/plum. This was the first one I've seen that was as nice as my original one (not from Touch of Class). The biggest feature I wanted was to hang over the sides so that my sheets don't show. This comforter is perfect!! The price was right also - on sale. The one thing I can say that would be better is to eliminate the extra pillows. I don't "dress" my bed other than with pillows - and maybe shams, if I want it to look dressed up. So, the extra pillows are in the plastic bag it all came in and will be in storage until some day I might want to either dress up the bed or give it all away.

This is an excellent set. It is well made and just beautiful. The color is a true dark plum.

I love that this comforter set is oversized so it can drape well over the edges of the bed. The filling is also warm and cozy, but not hot. It is so pretty!

This is the 2nd one I purchased. The first one is 4 yrs old and still perfect. I took it to the laundromat and it came out like new. I recommend it highly. I wish it came in white, also.

I just bought this set. It’s absolutely beautiful. The color is just what I wanted. The quality is excellent!! I wish I could find the curtain set to match. Goes well with dark cherry bedroom furniture and beige or light yellow walls. The materials used are built to last as long as it is dry cleaned. I couldn’t have made a better choice and it’s not too hot like some comforters are. Great price for the quality, 10 stars.

As most reviews attest to, the comforter is beautiful, especially if you like the color purple. However, the material they fill the comforter with is horrible. It is sweltering hot. I would assume someone from Alaska or Maine may like the comforter's intense heat. I am from Georgia, and that won't work for me. I didn't want to return the comforter so, I removed the filling and made the comforter a duvet. That was an endeavor and one reason for the 3 stars instead of 5. The other ding I give is for only giving you two Euro shams; two shams are not big enough for a King size bed. I am searching for another Euro sham to match; to date, I have not found a euro sham to match that I like. The company doesn't sell extra pieces. For something that expensive I have to do too much to make it work.

I am so pleased with my new comforter set! It's beautiful! Very well made. Very elegant! I matched it with plum sheets and deep purple curtains. I am thrilled with this purchase!
