Very disappointed in this purchase. I expected an elegant shelf, and this is anything but. You can see the welding, and the finish is not Touch of Class quality. I would return the shelf, but it is so heavy, that the postage required to return is half as much as the shelf itself.

Elegant and well-constructed. The only criticism is that the gilding is a little dull. I applied some highlights to this item with Martha Stewart’s Gilding paint and it is now brilliantly golden.
