The Dover Calais Pinch Pleat Thermal Room Darkening Curtains feature an elegant woven scroll design on a solid color background. These energy-saving, polyester jacquard curtains have a pinch-pleat style and an acrylic foam backing. The thermal insulation cuts heating and cooling costs, and the thick layers help block out light. Curtains require your clip rings or drapery pins to complete the tailored look. The 48"W curtains require 14 clips per pair. The 96"W curtains require 22 clips per pair. Click on Details for pleat information. Machine wash. Imported.

Pleats best feature

These drapes are a yellow cream and the embossed pattern has a slight sheen that is very pretty. The pleats are especially well-constructed and the thermal backing cuts down most of the light.. Unfortunately, the side hems of the panels have had the raw edges barely turned under three eights of an inch and visibly machine stitched down. The side hems and three inch bottom hen cheapen the look of the drapes. I will be adding false hems to achieve a more properly finished look.

I like these draperies

One warning: I ordered 5 pairs in the "light cream" and the packages that came through were labeled "Ivory". There should be a difference in color between the two, but they sure look like "light cream" to me. Otherwise, I am now pressing them to hang up and I am really liking this purchase as I do, will look really nice in my living room.
