This stool is exactly what we wanted and is a great addition to our living room. Sturdy design and solidly built. Easy to assemble without tools. Safely packaged for shipment. Couldn't be happier.

I was trying to find a vanity stool or chair, which would fit my childhood bedroom furniture. I have recently inherited it. Trying to find a chair that would go with my, at least, 67 year old furniture was difficult. This stool looked like it would come close. It is a little lighter in color, but that is not that noticeable. I like the criss-cross legs. I believe this makes the stool sturdier. The pattern on the top of the stool is decorative, but neutral enough that it will go with whatever color I paint the room. Decorative, sturdy, and beautiful. I couldn't ask for more.
