I had been eying these rods for several years now. I finally bought them. I have a very drafty foyer. I installed one on each side of the door frame with floor to ceiling insulated curtains. What a difference!!! The wrap around feature ensures that no drafts leak out around the frame. It keeps the cold air out from the front door in the winter and the heat out in the summer saving the important heat and air conditioning in the living areas where it belongs. I’m thinking of getting the longer versions for the bedroom windows, replacing my current curtain rods. They were extremely easy to install. Beautiful to look at. This curtain rod was easy to install. I used my own wall anchors, as those included are pretty poor. The rod holds panels too far away from the wall to truly be light blocking. Works at the side, but does nothing for too light leaking. For me this works, as I put it in the hallway outside my bedroom door. I work night shifts. I mounted it high and tight to the ceiling. It works here, but would not adequately block light from a window.

Arrived very quickly. Sturdy, well made curtain rod. Very easy to install and effectively blocks side light. Exactly what I was looking for use in my bedroom. I will likely order another one for my guest room.

The “ French - return” style hardware came all inclusive with no missing parts. That made the install painless.

I ordered two rods and both were damaged. The outer box was not damaged, so they must have been damaged before packaged for delivery. I was actually glad that they were damaged, because they were rather flimsy looking, not good quality. The return was very easy.

I'd had these before from Touch of Class, so I knew how to put them up. The brass looks good.
