Bought these to go on each side of a very large picture and they work nicely. The color is sort of a dark brownish-purple. One of them had a lot of white on it like it had not been painted so I spray painted them a metallic gold bronze and they look much nicer. They are very sturdy, but as with all metal items they are not uniform. I think they are a little pricey for what you are getting, coupled with the fact that I had to paint them to get rid of the mismatch.

I bought these sconces and the place you set the candle is not balanced for setting the candle on and the sconce is not straight at the bottom. Very crooked. :(

i like this product because it matches the gates of tuscany wall grille perfectly in the matcing slate color and completes the look and feel of tuscany on an otherwise boring wall!

Very nice looking in the bathroom with the other items that match. only negative is that it didn't come with mounting hardware (screws). It has looks to hang it with, but no mathching screws like all the other pieces of the collection had.
