The screen is a very nice stained glass fireplace screen but does not remotely look like the one in the catalog. The colors are all wrong (purples ins stead of red), it is much darker than the pictures,and it is a different pattern than advertised. We are very disappointed with this product, but being stained glass it is too difficult to repack and return.

This is high quality, really beautiful, well-made & {almost} just like the picture EXCEPT when you unpack it, the literature says it isn't designed to be placed in front of er....an actual FIRE. An excerpt from the product page on your site says this: "Accent will cheer up your neglected fireplace in the summer; watch the colors dance with the warmth of your flame in the winter." Say what??! So which is it? In my opinion your photo of an illuminated-from-behind fireplace screen is at the least misleading and at the the most, a deliberate sales strategy to market a useless product. Suffice it to say I am very, very disappointed. I'd return it except I destroyed the packaging when I opened it. Why on earth would I buy a $350 fireplace screen that shouldn't be used as a fireplace screen?

I absolutely love this stained glass screen. I have been looking for one for a long time, and this one is just beautiful with lit candles behind it. This item was packaged very well for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. Although there is a little assembly, it is very easy. The quality of this item is high. I am very pleased with my purchase.
