Handcarved rugs have a central rose and golden scroll motif with varying borders in hues of cream. A gray blue border with gold accents frames the central field. Design may vary by size.

Don't forget a rug pad. Search I141. Duo Lock Rug Pads decrease slipping and bunching, cushion your step, and extend rug life. Non-slip rug pads feature a needlepunch fiber surface that reverses to rubber waffle-weave backing for improved gripping power. Place rubber side down on hard surfaces and rubber side up between carpet and an area rug. Made in the USA, these rug pads may be vacuumed and cut to size with scissors.

Vintage Aubusson Area Rugs are made in India of 100% wool. Backs are cloth-covered latex.

Vacuum regularly. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

Do not place the rug in damp areas or moisten the rug with liquids, as dampness may cause deterioration. To help protect the backing, roll the rug when storing; do not fold. To help prevent fading, do not place the rug in areas of direct sunlight. For rugs used over carpeting, do not conduct any cleaning prior to removing the rug, and do not return the rug until completely dry.

The rug is beautiful and very good quality. However, the colors were much darker than represented by the picture online and in the catalog. Therefore, I'm not sure if it looks good with my furniture.

This rug is of high quality. The picture represents the soft, muted colors very well. I purchased the smallest rug at first and returned it because the larger rug would fit my space better. If you buy the smallest rug, expect it to be a little different than the photo of the larger one (smaller border, less scrolling, fewer roses in center) since it is a scaled-down version, but still very lovely. The service I received in making the exchange was exceptional and fast. I have bought from this company for years and have never been disappointed.

This is the second area rug I have purchased from Touch of Class! I loved the first so much, and recieved so many compliments on it, I couldn't resist purchasing a second one. The colors are true to the photo, the quality is excellent, and they are very unique.
