we recently purchased the box and like very much except for the lock. For the price paid we feel it should have a lock that is easier to operate. This lock is difficult to open and close. Please advise.

The hanger hardware is way to weak to hold the weight of the jewelry mirror!!

Assembly of Mirror jewelery box
Bruce Baird from MI wrote (December 19, 2011):
It's quite good looking but the quality of the assembly of the product was very poor. The screws attaching the hinges to the body of the mirror box were overtightened and could not hold the door in place. The door lock didn't line up with the matching part on the body. After repairing the stripped holes of the hinges and several attempts at adjusting the door to fit the locks, it's better.
