This is a very attractive item, however, I first put a partial paper towel roll in and it tended to unroll and wobbled and really didn't look as nice as when a full roll was inserted--it's unreasonable to think there would always be a full roll there just to make it look prettier.

Perfect touch

I love this sitting on my coastal kitchen counter. The shell and starfish is a painted metal so I think it will hold up better compared to ceramic. Varying sizes of paper towel rolls fit too...jumbo to a small roll.
