The end table was just as pictured. The quality was excellent and my son said it wasn't too time consuming to put together.
Ordered the side table for my mothers room and when it arrived it matched perfectly with her mission style oak recliner. Now, the tough part was assembly. When the ad said full assembly - it wasn't kidding. Comes in a flat cardboard box about 6" think and everything is packed inside. Instructions are somewhat difficult to read and understand. Took considerably more time than I anticipated, however the end product was just what she wanted. Nice wood veneer finish, pieces fit appropriately and hardware was easy to install. Would have been a 5 star except for the moderately difficult time in assembly.
The table itself is attractive..once you get it together..you state in the description there is..some..assembly that is untrue. the whole table has to be put together..which was difficult since the instructions sent were not in english also the quality is poor..one of the pieces broke and splintered since it was not wood but compressed wood..for the money I paid I feel I was cheated with an inferior product..I did manage to glue the piece that broke and hopefully it will hold together.
This was very poor quality at a high price. The picture looks amazing. The actual product was terrible. Trying to assemble was a nightmare as it kept falling apart. I would not recommend this. I expected more from "Touch of Class".
Directions for assembly made no sense at all, but was able to put together on my own without much difficulty.
I love the look of this table, it had everything I wanted in an end table and couldn't find in a furniture store. I wasn't happy with the fact that it was pressed wood instead of solid, especially since it was almost $300.00. We received one damaged part and had to wait for it to get here before we could put it together, however the replacement part was here within four or five days.
I am so disappointed with the table because it said in the catalogue that it was wood and veneers. When we received it, it was made from osb or particle board. The cost of it should have been real wood. It looks good. Unless you knew what it was made from you would think it was real wood. I hope it will stay together. I knew it would probably cost me more money to send it back to you.
the instructions were terrible. when we finally got it together it is nice.
We were disappointed that, at a cost of $300, this item still had to be assembled. My husband is an engineer and a woodworker and he found the directions difficult to follow.
