The depths of the sea still hold many mysteries, and that sense of hidden splendor is captured in the Ocean Surprise Round Rugs. Floorcoverings depict a central field of light blue water filled with seaweed and bubbles, surrounded by a pale yellow border adorned with various starfish and shellfish in hues of blue, green, and red. The .5" pile, pure wool rugs are petit point hand-hooked in China. Oval rugs have the same finished edges as the round but in an oval shape. Rugs have cotton over latex backing, and will exhibit minor variances due to their handcrafted nature. Design may vary by size.

Vacuum regularly. Rotate rug annually. For minor spills, clean immediately by blotting with a cloth or sponge. We recommend professional cleaning by a rug cleaner. We also recommend the use of a rug pad to protect the rug and the underlying surface and to prevent color transfer.

Do not place the rug in damp areas or moisten the rug with liquids, as dampness may cause deterioration. To help protect the backing, roll the rug when storing; do not fold. To help prevent fading, do not place the rug in areas of direct sunlight. For rugs used over carpeting, do not conduct any cleaning prior to removing the rug, and do not return the rug until completely dry.
