This is a really pretty plate holder, we have purchased rectangle shaped plates and they really look gorgeous in this plate rack, and love the color, looks great on our white wall.

its big enough though, but is not a shiny piece, looks like an old one to me, on the whole makes a nice decoration when added with the right kind of plates.
