Rope Lamp

The rope was pretty and sturdy. I think the shade should be a little more rustic or have more texture and color. However.....the big drawback is that the switch is on the cord and several feet from the lamp base, so if it is sitting on a side table, there is no way to reach the switch. Had to take it to a lamp shop. They said there was no way to re-wire the lamp, but they put another switch on the cord closer to the lamp base and had to leave the factory switch in place and turned to the "on" position. I had to travel about 30 minutes from my house and paid $8 to have this done.
