The hand-woven Natural Flokati Shag Area Rugs have a high pile and a plush surface for your feet. Made in Greece of New Zealand wool, these classic Flokati rugs are 1.5" thick and have polypropylene backing with a wool weft. Rugs have 1400 grams of wool per square meter. This unique Flokati rug is one of the few products that is made the same way and in the same place that it has been for centuries. Flokati area rugs can be washed in a commercial machine and dried outdoors; do not machine dry or dry clean. See Details tab for additional information.

The best way to keep your Flokati rug looking fresh is to take it outdoors and shake it well. Vacuum your Flokati rug using a suction head and not a vacuum with a beater brush. Flokati rugs can be washed in a commercial machine and dried outdoors. Do not put Flokati rugs in the dryer. Do not dry clean. Brush your Flokati rug to retain the natural fluff of the wool pile. We recommend the use of a rug pad.
