I wanted a small fountain to tie in the pictures and their colors on two of my bedroom walls. Visually, this with a dark green doily does this. However, the movement of the water is so slight and there is no sound, so as a fountain, I was less than impressed. But it looks very nice, and I am happy I got it.
I wanted a small fountain for the living room that had the blue & brown tones and had that 'antique' look. I love butterflies and this one really appealed to me. It fits perfectly in the room and provides a soft tinkling of water flow - very relaxing. Caution - when you first set it up, do so on a kitchen counter and make sure the water flow is set to 'low'. Mine was set on 'high' and when I turned it on to see how it worked, water sprayed out the top like a volcano! After I mopped up, set the flow to low and added the rocks to the top of the unit, it ran perfectly! I love it!!
