As long as you're not to close or don't get to feel the decoration, they look very nice. I have them up high, and they add a very nice touch. As others have noted, these are designed to be looked at from only one side, but they are not bad from the other side either.

I do like them although I believe they should be painted on both sides rather than on just one side. It would also be very helpful if screws would have been included.
