Looks nice but does not do the job! The two light weight chains with balls are not nearly heavy enough to hold pages in place.

It looks great in my Italian cucina. It holds all sizes of my cookbooks. The only draw back is that you will need to put something on the parts that touch your counter to keep it from moving.
