lOVE THE iTEM...nOT THE QUALITY

I bought this item for an upcoming baby shower gift for the mother. It is lovely, but there are spatter spots on it and a spot that is sticky as if a sticker of some kind was removed and left residue. I am undecided whether to return it?? Not much time until the shower.
