Rug Pad
Alice Palicz from CA wrote (April 19, 2012):
The pad was folded tightly and shrink wrapped. I had it unfolded, with weights on it for over a week before trying to use it. BUT still there are places that just won't lay flat. I am disappointed that the rug keeps slipping on the pad. I did not have this problem with the larger (same kind rug and pad) so I am disappointed. For now I've had the
rug stitched to the pad and still have to have weights on it in some places. I like the runner that matches the big rug... so I hope
this problem will level out.

Hold-in-place-pad?
Pat Townes from OK wrote (March 08, 2012):
I love the elegant cushiness of the pad. That's about it. Does it hold a rug in place....no! When the runner pad was placed according to directions on our wood floor, the rug "runs away" when walked on....does NOT hold rug in place! The 96" round pad is held in place under the round rug because our table and chairs are on top of it...however, you must be careful not to step on edge of rug as it separates from pad and will not lay back down easily. Definitely will NOT recommend anyone buy them...NOT, NOT, NOT worth the money!! One purchase I certainly regret making! Should have bought thinner, less expensive pads.

I love the thickness and softness of the pad. It's rubbery side is great for my hardwood floors... no scratches or slipping.
