1 Star Emitting an Odor

KT from TX wrote (February 01, 2012):

I think the thermobacking works as advertised, but we have not been able to get over the strong odor coming from the curtains. We had painted the room recently, so i thought it was the paint, but soon realized the smell was coming from the fabric. I don't think it is subsiding much....if you are sensitive to smells, you might re-think this one.

5 Stars IT SEEMS TO WORK

Cathy from MI wrote (January 29, 2012):

We bought these drapes to help cut down on our heating bill or at least to help keep the house warmer. It seems to work well. We have not got a heating bill yet, but we are warmer. The directions say to put in dryer to remove wrinkles when you get them with a damp towel. I don't think it works any better than waiting for the wrinkles to just "hang out" on their own. They also came 2 weeks earlier than we were told, as they said they were on back order. We have been very pleased so far.

3 Stars

The fabric is nice, but the top of the panels are not as shown in the catalog. There is no extra material above the rod pocket and the look is not as nice as shown in the catalog.
