The thermal, solid color Canvas Blackout Grommet Patio Panel is woven in three layers using a tight weave of colored yarns on the front and back sandwiched around an inner layer of black yarns. Panel has a heavy, textured weave. The thick fabric and density will block drafts and help maintain room temperature. Polyester panel has 1.5" antique bronze, metal grommets. Patio panel, 112"Wx84"L, includes wand for easy movement; wand is detachable for panel laundering. Indoor use only. Machine wash. Imported.

Not really a blackout curtain

The drapes were advertised as blackout on the web site. When I received them, the package said room darkening. I hung one up and it was definitely not blackout. If you aren't looking for true blackout, the drapes were very nice. I returned them because I need true blackout.

hang straight

The drape is heavy enough to keep out the cold, but it does not hang straight in folds like the picture. I bought it to darken the room where my grandchildren sleep when they visit us, and for insulation. Also bought it for the classy way it looked on the internet. Too bad things are not the same as they look. I like the rod, it was easy to install and does not sag in the middle. With a drape that you have to pull across like this one, you cannot use a center bracket, so the rod needs to be rigid and stable without the center bracket. Thank you. It's a step toward normalcy in the middle of the disaster here in New Jersey.
