I pleased with the lamp that works properly. The one that the finial would not tighten and does not light up the three ways, I do not like these things.

Other than the fact that I had to "rebuild" the stem that attaches the lamp socket to the base on one lamp, I was pleased with this product. They look good and compliment our room as we hoped. The lamps come disassembled and I found that the threads of one attachment did not quite reach the receiving threads in the base. The average person might neither care or be able to make this repair, but I found this approach simpler than returning the lamp and waiting for another. I did have to replace the socket, but fortunately had one on hand. I wouldn't reject these lamps for such an issue, I'm only describing what I encountered. These lamps do have a "rectangular" profile which is not totally clear from the picture or description, so be advised if this is an issue.

I read a review that wasn't sure about the size of these lamps - they are not as big around as they appear, but I think that is great - they don't take up as much room on the endtable but look great!

The quality was not what I am accustomed to from Touch of Class. The shades was so out of portion with the size of the lamp. I ordered two and one of them did not go to 3-way lighting strength.
