color of curtains

I bought these curtains because of the color. The sage green was light and beautiful. When I received them they were 6 shades darker, instead of brightening our living room, they actually darkened it. I know that color shades from catalogs and on-line may differ, but this was ridiculous. I will be using them in a different room. Doesn't someone check the items going out with the color that they actually are? Will not be buying from here again.
