This switch plate isn't as elegant in person as the picture. It is a little too thick. I ordered the ivory but it ls more of a pale yellow.

We bought these plates in the ivory color and are very thrilled with the way they look. We are renovating an old farmhouse and these plates add a beautiful touch of old world elegance to the house. They are understated but definitely attract attention.

The outlets look much better now that they are decorative, rather than the dull plates the house came with.
