The shoe bench is very nice, my only problem was that the color wasn't what I thought it would be. It was more yellow than whitewashed but a lovely piece of furniture all the same

I was very disappointed in the color WHITE of this piece. If the last coat of "antique" (bright yellow brush strokes) was omitted it would have been perfect. The photo was deceiving. It was a nice solid piece of furniture. The cost to me of returning it was $70.65. My husband will never let me forget this mistake.
